Hey folks--

It's been a while since I got it together to update you all on my
crazed wanderings in asia. But I'm making up for that with a nice
handful of new blog entries and pictures from Taipei, Hong Kong, and

With hopefully one more -- a wild story from taipei -- to follow tomorrow.

In a word, it's been a great wild ride, and in a shift of gears, late
tomorrow I head in for a 10 day Buddhist meditaton retreat, up here
outside of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand.

So I'll be totally off the grid then. But you can email me still yet
for a day. And, of course, after they let me out ;-) .

Hey folks--

It never rains except when it pours.

Yesterday there were three or four new entries. Today : 2 more. In
the first -- "Near Epiphany in Taipei" -- I become a Taoist and almost
die of incense-smoke inhalation. In the second -- "Go Bangkok Go Go!
-- well, I'll leave it up to your imagination. A teaser for a teaser.
