I'm writing a book.
I know what you're thinking: that guy is always writing a book.
Yes, but this one's different.

It pulls together most everything I've learned about politics, art and
the media over the last many years (And not just what *I've* learned
-- The project is an unusual collaboration among over 40 cutting-edge
political troublemakers from around the world as well as some of the
most ass-kicking groups around -- The Yes Men, the Ruckus Society and
SmartMeme, to name three.) We're taking our best ideas and tactical
innovations and distilling them into a design manual and web toolbox
that anyone can use to design effective creative actions.

We've been crowdsourcing the content, now we're crowdsourcing the
title and the funding. That's where you come in.

The current title is:
BEAUTIFUL TROUBLE: Toolbox for the Next Revolution
but we're thinking of changing it to:
BEAUTIFUL TROUBLE: How to Spark a Revolution with Pranks, Stunts and
Other Spectacular Acts of Daring
Do you have a preference? I'd like to know.
Also, if you've got any outside-the-box, awesomely way better title
ideas than these, please send along immediately. Let 10,000 title
ideas bloom.

As for funding, luckily there's this cool thing called KickStarter,
which makes helping out more fun and collaborative. Basically, if you
throw down a little something (or, even better, a big- or medium-sized
something), then you get something back. For a $60 pledge, for
instance, I'll mail you a signed copy of the book once it's published.
For $250, you'll get a copy of the infamous "Iraq War Ends!" prank New
York Times signed by the Yes Men.

Have a look at the rewards, watch the project video, and then please
consider helping to make this baby happen.

My aim when I launched this crazy project was to put the best creative
tools and tactics in the hands of the next generation of changemakers.
We're now a good chunk of the way there. Help me bring it home.

Yours in trouble,

Andrew
