JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a ServiceNow Developer with a focus on Service Portal chat for Virtual Agent. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and expertise:
Topic Block and Topic Creation: Proficiency in creating topic blocks and topics within the Virtual Agent to enhance user interactions and provide efficient responses to inquiries.
Scripting and API Integration: Strong scripting skills are required to create custom functionalities and call APIs to integrate various systems and services with ServiceNow.
Portal Creation: Experience in creating portals within the ServiceNow platform to provide a user-friendly and intuitive interface for employees and customers.
Theme Customization: You should be familiar with creating themes from scratch or customizing existing themes to align the Service Portal with the organization's branding and design guidelines.
ServiceNow Procurement Service Management (PSM): Implementation experience with the ServiceNow PSM module is essential for this role, as you will be involved in developing solutions related to procurement processes.
ITSM Development: A strong background in IT Service Management (ITSM) development is required, with expertise in areas like Catalog, Virtual Agent, Service Portal with backend tools, and Workplace.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Configuring Service Portal chat for Virtual Agent.
Creating topic blocks and topics for efficient user interactions.
Scripting to call APIs and integrate external systems.
Developing and customizing portals with themes.
Implementing ServiceNow Procurement Service Management (PSM) module.
Applying strong ITSM development skills (Catalog, Virtual Agent, Service Portal, Workplace).
Gathering requirements and analyzing business needs.
Designing and developing effective solutions.
Conducting testing and ensuring quality assurance.
Documenting configurations and solutions.
Providing troubleshooting support.
Continuously improving processes and solutions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Minimum 8+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development.
