ज्ञात्वा हि मातू रुदितं क्षतानि विद्युद्धराण्यक्षिशतान्यभूवन्।
क्रोधैः सहस्राणि ततो मुखानि भीमानि भीमं दनुजेशमायन्॥
Anvaya
मातुः रुदितं क्षतानि [च] ज्ञात्वा हि अक्षिशतानि विद्युद्धराणि अभूवन्। ततः क्रोधैः सहस्राणि भीमानि मुखानि भीमं दनुजेशम् आयन्।
Meaning
मातुः - mātuḥ - of Mother; रुदितं - ruditaṁ - weeping; क्षतानि - kṣatāni - wounds; ज्ञात्वा - jñātvā - noticing/knowing; हि - hi - (for emphasis); अक्षिशतानि - akṣiśatāni - hundreds of eyes; विद्युद्धराणि - vidyuddharāṇi - lightning bolts; अभूवन् - abhūvan - did; ततः - tataḥ - then; क्रोधैः - krodhaiḥ - with rage; सहस्राणि - sahasrāṇi - thousands; भीमानि - bhīmāni - furious; मुखानि - mukhāni - faces; भीमं - bhīmaṁ - dreadful; दनुजेशम् - danujeśam - Demon King; आयन् - āyan - turned;
Sanskrit
मातुः क्रन्दनं तस्याः क्षतविक्षतं शरीरं च दृष्ट्वा शतशः जाज्वल्यमान-नेत्राणि उद्भासितानि। ततः क्रोधैः सहस्रशः भयङ्करमुखानि तं दुर्दान्तदानवराजम् अभ्युपेतानि।
English Interpretation
Growing aware of the Mother’s weeping and her wounds, hundreds of eyes darted light-ning. Then thousands of faces turned, dire with rage, upon the dread lord of Titans.

माँ को रोता देख,देख उसके घावों को
बिजली सी शत-शत-शत आँखें चमक उठीं,
और सहस्र भयानक मुख वे मुड़े रोष से भर कर
उस भीम महादानव की ओर॥
