Free; Flux Factory is proud to present a collaborative exhibition by Paula Castro and Cyprien Chabert. Castro, a reknowned Argentinian artist and member of Flux Factory's international residency program, and French artist Chabert will create an installation and present drawings of geological wonders and fabricated landscapes to be accompanied by a small library of handmade books. The exhibition includes a selection of books from Nick Normal's "Expansive Library," an ongoing collection of facsimile knowledge.

will feature an exclusive premiere of AC’s new web series,
Krazdale, a Smörgåsbord of Absurdity. It’s a new interactive web
series that gives the viewer an opportunity to write their own
episodes and incorporate themselves into the show's universe and AC
will help produce them. Our goal is to help foster the originality
and creativity of young filmmakers, by giving them a platform to
produce short form creative content. Along with Krazdale the night
will also include Aligned Creative produced music videos from the
Middle Eight and the Blaire Reinhard Band, a showcase of AC
handpicked short films by up and coming filmmakers Cai Hall, Kieran
O’Hare, Chris King and Matt Farrell and live performances by the

So this is it... after an entire year of fighting we have now reached the climax of our war. Red who has claimed countless victories will now be fighting to keep their crown while Yellow tries to add another victory to their side. Come out, bear the cold, fight with all your heart for your team in what will be the best Manhunt of the Year. Rules:-One team will hide while the other seeks them over a set amount of time. -A seeker may tag (one hand at least) a hider and escort them back to jail. (you can only bring back one at a time and you must bring your own back)-The jail is a designated circle in which the hider must remain inside until someone from their team jailbreaks them.-There are two jail guards who can be within the guard circle (a bigger one around the jail). all other seekers stay out of the guard circle. jail guards can multitag-If an untagged hider gets into the jail circle, those in jail are free-The score equals the number of hiders in the jail at the end of the round, then the teams switch. $10; Do we see what is real? Or is what we see a
construction of our brain? What convinces us that what seems so, is
in fact so? The eyes are notorious liars. We are repeatedly fooled by
appearances. The more we learn about the brain, the more it appears
that what we take as reality is indeed construed by the brain. Anna
Ipata, of the Department of Neuroscience at Columbia University, will
tell us how the brain discounts much visual information, and selects
only what it needs to obtain a certain kind of knowledge of the
world. Apposite music will be provided by PewPew and the QQ's, a New
York garage band that demonstrates what happens when neuroscientists
stop paying attention to their science.
