Adobe After Effects is a tool used for creating visual effects and motion graphics in the post production process. This powerful software can help you to create an endless number of effects in your videos. As a video editor, we know how much time and energy it takes to create your own effects. This is where we can help. Our library of After Effect templates allow you to create stunning motion graphics quickly.

After Effects templates are pre-animated project files that are designed to let you add motion graphics to your videos. Instead of having to design your own motion graphics from scratch, our templates allow you to add awesome effects to your videos without needing to learn After Effects. The templates in our library make it very clear where to swap out placeholder elements for personalized items like text and logos.

I've been looking at ENVATO which seems to umbrella over other places like videohive etc. I've even seen some at $99 "lifetime" memberships for unlimited downloads...I see a lot of overlap and just wanted to know if anyone can recommend some good sites. I'd appreciate only recommending ones that you actually use as some "seem" good and then you discover later things aren't what you expected.

I think templates are a crap shoot. You never know what you are getting. The best chance you have is to look for templates that you really like and then, as you get more experience, you can fix the poorly designed ones. Almost all templates are combinations of pre-comps with place holders for your custom footage or text. In many cases a template will save you a bunch of time, but you also run the risk of buying one that becomes popular and then your client sees it in a bunch of other videos and wonders why they paid you to create something that is canned. That's just my 2

I'm not really looking to debate the value of templates, I'm simply asking for a good place to actually buy them. I've used templates over the years here and there and adjust them to where they work for me and still look somewhat unique without issue so far. I'd love to have the time to design all day, but it's only one facet of what I do now and time is even more valuable, so again, if anyone can recommend a good site to buy from, I'm still interested in hearing from you.

There's been a similar post to this one before so ill answer it like i did the other one. Rick has a point, you can go terribly wrong with buying the WRONG template, if you're not trying to deal with that risk than you should just go with free templates which can be found on EditorsDepot, they're pretty good too. -after-effects

Today Videohive.net is one of leading markets for the After Effects Templates. Depends from who do you Buy After Effects Templates and are they covered by good tutorial, support or just a regular FAQ page. Personally as Envato Elite author i highly recommended their website, just check author reputation and try to contact them before buying item and you will be more than satisfied.

Is it possible to use an adobe after effects template in motion 5 or fcpx? If so how do I go about doing this? I am fairly new to this and i found a template that i would really like to use for a football highlight video that i am putting together. Thank you ahead of time for any help that yall can give me.

It is my understanding that affer effects will not work at present with FCP X. All plugins must be ported to 64 bit before they will work with FCP X according to the Apple FAQ. There are a great many effects templates included with Final Cut Pro X, however, but some were included in the Download Additional Content that must be done after the program is first installed. Best wishes.

On more research, I discovered the following link showing a workflow to go between FCP X and After Effects. Please disregard my first post. Adobe After Effects is currently in 64 bit, but their site says it is compatible with Mac OS 10.5.8 and 10.6. Not sure if Lion would therefore be included. Sorry for the wrong info.

Think of video templates as shortcuts in your creative process. Your videos almost always need to include elements like intros and outros, transitions, and visual effects. But rather than painstakingly creating these elements from scratch each time you work on a new project, you can browse Adobe Stock to find pre-built options that will save you time.

When you find a MOGRT template you like, all you have to do is download it and drop it onto your video editing timeline to incorporate it into your project. With Premiere Pro and After Effects templates, you can simply download the project files and open them in their respective apps to begin working with them.

As a creator with a unique vision for each video you make, you might balk at the idea of incorporating pre-built content into your productions. However, MOGRT files offer the ability to customize a predetermined set of elements for a faster workflow, and Adobe Stock, Premiere Pro and After Effects video editing templates are fully customizable for more control of your final project.

Premiere Pro is the Adobe Creative Cloud app that delivers industry-standard video editing tools. It has everything you need to edit and trim footage, correct color, adjust audio, and mix music. It also lets you add titles, transitions, and effects to enhance and propel your stories.

After Effects is the industry-standard app for creating motion graphics and visual effects. You can use it to animate text and characters, make objects disappear, control the weather onscreen, and much more.

As with Premiere Pro video templates, Adobe Stock After Effects templates include essential video elements like titles and transitions. They also include colorful and hypnotic backgrounds for your text, graphics, and animations.

Sarting at just US$29.99/ month, our multi-asset subscriptions are tailored to meet various creative needs, giving you access to millions of images, videos (now including 4K), music tracks, video and design templates, vectors, and more. All these assets are available in one place and easily accessible from within Adobe Creative Cloud apps, all in one place.

Yes, you can export a timeline with the plugin bodymovin(free) - The plugin exports files to be used by a player called lottie, and that can be embeded in a html template and controlled with javascript/casparcg -
I made a demo template in another post, there is also the ae file.
Its not everything in After effects that works in the plugin, like particles - but you can always export it as a png sequence reimport and then export that with bodymovin. There are other ways to do the controlling javascript, just search the forum after bodymovin or lottie

I can manipulate on your lower third template from Html using CasparCG invoke method.
but
I have troubles exporting composition from AE using bodymovin extension in a proper way. could you please guide me how to achieve this?

I am not sure, if you understand the workflow here: What you export from After Effects (using BodyMovin) is only the data.json file. The rest needs to be built by you, that is not been generated. I currently work on a tool to automate this process, but it does not run yet.

You can use the js files in the template for your own export from AE - replace the data.json with your export from bodymovin(name it: data.json). In the index.js file, you can change the In & out of play, stop and update.

As an animator, I am all too familiar with the challenges of creating After Effects templates. It can be incredibly time-consuming to coordinate and code all the different elements of a template, especially when working on multiple projects. Fortunately, advancements in artificial intelligence and natural language processing have led to the development of ChatGPT, a solution that can significantly reduce the amount of time and effort involved in this process.

One of the biggest benefits of using ChatGPT for After Effects template coding automation is the increased efficiency and accuracy it provides. As an animator, I can now simply communicate with the ChatGPT system in natural language and it will generate the necessary code for me.
