Guilder Business Council

In an effort to get more involvement in the leadership of the Chapter,
we are proposing the forming of a Guilder Business Council. The
Council will have a representative from each unit and the elected
leadership will collectively represent the general populace without a
unit.

An established unit with voting rights is any unit that has been
active for three months. This will make sure that new groups have a
chance to learn the procedures and what is expected of them. We
request that the representative have at least three months or three
events worth of experience and not be the unit leader so as to allow
the unit leader to focus completely on the running of their unit.

Business meetings will be held monthly and minutes will be made
available on the Chapter forums. Any representative that cannot make
the meeting should contact the Chapter leadership and send a
replacement that meets the same qualifications as a normal
representative. Any representative that consistently cannot make or
participate in meetings will be asked to be permanently replaced. Any
unit that cannot send a representative or replacement will lose their
vote for that business meeting.
