Installation dependencies error

Hi,

I am trying to install DAGMC (on Fedora 35) for first time and I am stucked in the following error in the MOAB installation. After running
../src/configure --enable-optimize \ --enable-shared \ --disable-debug \ --with-hdf5=$HOME/dagmc_bld/HDF5 \ --prefix=$HOME/dagmc_bld/MOAB

I get the following error:
configure: error: LAPACK library not found

Could you please help me?

Xavier,

Have you installed LAPACK? I'm not sure what package manager you use on Fedora (yum or dnf, maybe?) , but on Ubuntu you can do  sudo apt-get install liblapack-dev. You may need libblas-dev as well.

Hello Xavier, Kevin,

 

It should also be possible to install MOAB without LAPACK using the option `--disable-lapack`, but you will need to make sure that you have the Eigen3 package installed.

 

 

Perhaps we need to update our documentation for this (slightly) pathway.
