Hello,

I read the User's guide and this is written in the part where they explain how to use Dagger:

Gradle Users

You will need to include the dagger-2.0.jar in your application's runtime. In order to activate code generation you will need to include dagger-compiler-2.0.jar in your build at compile time.

In a Maven project, one would include the runtime in the dependencies section of your pom.xml, and the dagger-compiler artifact as a dependency of the compiler plugin: ...

Now, after looking at examples from around the web I see people who use Gradle that they do have a 'compile' dependency in there, quite a few are using different references. So I wonder, in the first place how did they find those dependency locations since I can't find them in user docs and second, if they "create" their own dependency locations by forking Dagger or how ever, is that a good practice?

Thank you.

Take a look at https://github.com/google/dagger/pull/295/files - we've been meaning to get that in but have been sidetracked recently.
