This summer, the Dagara team has taken in more interns and visitors this summer than any summer previous. We have been encouraged and challenged and we hope that we have done the same for those who have visited us. Our prayer is that they glorify God more wherever they are in the world and remember Africa and come back as missionaries some day. Most recently we enjoyed a visit from Chris Sands and his son Nathan. Daniel and Nathan particularly enjoyed wearing jedi robes and playing video games. Daniel turns 10 this month and we thank the Sands for helping us get some Star Wars themed birthday supplies. We also enjoyed getting to meet Chris’ friend Josh who also came. Please pray for Chris and Jennifer as they prepare to move to Burkina someday to serve God here. The Johnson Family
Aaron has been focusing on showing teachers how to listen to and obey scriptures in their lives. Doing so has led them to convictions to do things like take care of an orphan in one of their villages who has a wound that doesn’t seem to be healing right, or teach the same scripture to a friend, etc. We’ve also celebrated as the Dagara church planting movement has started to become cross-cultural. Frederique from Di-doro a Dagara village surrounded by Pougouli villages has begun teaching in the Pougouli language in a neigboring Pougouli village.
Thanks for reading this and praying for God's work here,

P.S. - I haven't updated our blog recently, but I hope to be sending some stuff soon.
Greetings from a beautiful Burkina Faso! This is one of those times in which we can legitimately say most people would find Burkina a pretty place to live. The rest of the year you have to be from West Texas to find it attractive…The Richter Family
Our family is enjoying life, but could use your prayers for better health. All three kids have had malaria at some point during the summer. Please pray that God would protect and strengthen our bodies!
The end is in sight on our team’s busiest summer ever! We’ve said goodbye to: five Harding/ACU interns; our team’s counselor Sonny Guild (who came for a team tune-up) plus two guys traveling with him; our old teammate Archie and three Pioneer Bible Translators interns; several groups of friends; and our new teammate Chris Sands, his son, and his best friend. All that’s left before we heave a big sigh of relief is one final work group coming from the Oak Hills Church.
Work is good. Churches have been planted in Ya-bo-gawn, Sarba, and Dakola (for the second time!) since we last sent out a Digest. We were also blessed by a recent leaders’ meeting; 100 leaders from 18 churches came together to hear teaching on Christian leadership based out of the Pastoral Epistles. Additionally, Andy is still really enjoying his leadership training with five good men: Severen, Herman, Yawn-ba-cere, Zuzef, and Do-man-nyooro.
We thank you for your prayers for us and for our Dagara brothers and sisters.
