Sube and Anil,
I worked with you in the past on some issues related to the open
source replicator and go that working. However I can not get the
Enteprise version of replicator to work on Linux 2.6.16, PostgreSql
8.1, and Java 1.5. I have got replicator starting and replication
data source on two linux computers in a LAN. No firewalls are
activated. Both start up replication data source fine and one of them
start replicator with no problem. When I add a job I get FTP
connection refused. I believe you are using Apache FTP server/client
and there is an issue merging changes with XML file. Everything is
fine up until I add a job. I have been working with Anil Garg but no
solution and it has been over 3 months trying to get a solution. If
I do not get any help this week I will look for another solution for
our government project. I have had no solution to the problem or even
any attempt at a solution.

I believe your product has some configuration issues under Linux. I
am not running FTP on either Linux box. I was told that no
configuration of any of the ftpd.properties or xml in your release has
to be done do I am at a lost as to how to fix it. I have no source
like I had with the open source version so I can not troubleshoot the
problem. I spent several weeks getting the open source version to
work by changing Java source. I have committed our work to the
Enterprise version but I can not get past the problem above. I would
really appreciate some type of feedback as to how to fix the problem
or just a statement that the software does not work with my
configuration of software. That way I can move on to another company
and solution.
