Running Replicator (E) on Linux 2.6.16 with PostgreSQL 8.1 and Java
1.5.
I keep getting FTP connection refused. I believe that replicator is
using Apache FTP client/server built into to it to handle FTP client/
server requests. I have found the ftpd.properties and ftpd.xml files
in res/conf. They are currently configured to use C:\\Replication\
\Home. I am assuming that either one of these files or both have to
be changed to configure FTP server/client accesses on Linux. There is
a hardwired IP address used in the configuration. I was originally
told that this does not need to be changed but typically I would think
you would have to point your FTP server to a home directory and
stipulate users who can connect and/or IP addresses as well as other
info.
If this is the case I need a writeup on how to change this file based
on my configuration.
Replicator and Replication Data Source do not function at this time
due to FTP connection refused and XML {0} error.
I am stuck trying to use this product and have had no feedback in
weeks.
