FTP Connection refused and XML {0} error

I have configured Replicator to use JDBC Datasource which is local to
machine replicator is running on. I have configured a replication
data source on another computer. I get a Java trace dump XML {0} and
FTP connection refused in ERROR.lg file. I am running Replicator
3.2.0 on Linux 2.6.16 and PostgreSQL 8.1 with JDK 1.5. Is the FTP
server/client built into Replicator and/or Replication Data Source and
do I have to configure access to the FTP server to get replication to
work. If FTP server is not built into Replicator/Replication Data
Source then I have to open a port for web access as well as FTP access
to the Internet. I was told that I only need to open one port for web
server access. I hope I do not have to setup FTP server that comes
with Linux to support this.
