Setup/Configuration PostgreSQL 8.1, Java 1.5, SuSE Linux 10.1

and the class for the JDBC data source for PostGreSQL can not be
found. I copied the appropriate jdbc jar file into the lib
directories for Replicator and ReplicationDataSource but this did not
help. Also I am using 3.0 version. How can I get the latest version
when the daffodil download dies with a TomCat Apache exception dump.
What is the meaning in the Getting Started Guid of
DATA_SOURCE_CLASS_NAME: jdbc class name. Is this line supposed to be
put in some file somewhere. I have used the open source version of
replicator in the past and had to change quite a bit of java code to
get it to work with PostGreSQL..
Is PostgreSQL 8.1 supported. How do I troubleshoot the problems I am
having?
I am interested in using this product in a commercial application my
company has but so far no luck configuring it based on instructions
provided. Is there a set of instructions specific to Linux,
PostGreSQL 8.1, Java 1.5 that are available to get my jump started so
we can evaluate. We have a short fuse to get the replication working
with our database.
