Andnot only does Hallmark offer high quality, inexpensive greeting cards, but you can also sign up for the Hallmark Card Rewards program. For every five cards you buy at Walmart (or anywhere else that sells Hallmark cards), you can earn a reward! Things like dollars off merchandise, dining or other fun perks! Wow. Not only does the birthday girl or guy get a gift, but so do you!

Measure the width and height of your box so that you can trim your card stock accordingly. My shoe box was mine was 10 x 7 x 4, so my card stock sheets were a LITTLE less than 74 inches. I chose light but bright colored card stock so that my labels would really stick out!

Now the fun part. I downloaded the Epson ilabel app that, once downloaded, automatically synced with my Epson Label Maker without having to register or sign up (just turn on bluetooth).

Using the Epson clear labels, all I simply typed out the label on my phone, choose the font & size, and hit the green printer button! No more running to my printer to make a label, as my battery operated Epson Label Maker comes with me everywhere, as does my iphone ? .

Now all I had to do was file my cards under the appropriate month! I also placed a post-it on each card with the recipients name and date to help when I pull out the cards for that month. I store stamps & a pen in the back of my shoe box.

After the response to this recent LifeHacker piece, I thought I would explain the system I use to take notes, research books and keep track of anecdotes, stories and info I come across in my work.

-In the top right hand corner of each card, put a theme or category that this card belongs to. If a card can fit in multiple categories, just make a duplicate card. Robert uses color coded cards for an extra layer of organization.

*Animals (Weird stories about animals. For instance, according to the book One Summer by Bill Bryson, the hotel that Babe Ruth lived in for most of his career had a live seal living in the lobby fountain)

-If you are working on a book project where there are a limited amount of themes or you know exactly what they are, it makes sense to introduce a shorthand. For instance, with my last book Growth Hacker Marketing, I had 6 themes that roughly corresponded with the chapters and structure of the book:

Remember there is no right and wrong way to do this. The system that I have was taught to me by someone and I made my own modifications. His way works best for him, and I have a way that works better for me.

I saw a post about a similar system a while back, I believe it was from you Ryan! It has been a lifesaver, and really helped save my sanity. Reading this updated version has inspired me to upgrade my organization!

Trust yourself, trust the freaking process, just start doing it and make it right for you and your needs. If you pause or freeze up due to its perceived complexity then work through it. By working through it you gain proficiency and competence.

I was watching a show about Joan Rivers and she had a 3 x 5 index card system of her jokes and categorized them by type. She had them filed in metal card files and there were lots of drawers of them. She kept them from the beginning of her career.

Darwin had a similar system of organizing information. He collected facts and notes in different portfolios based on the subject matter. He further maintained an index for each of these portfolios and so was able to efficiently reference his accumulated knowledge of any topic. See point three in the link below if interested:

How about if the organizer redeems the gift card? I redeemed a gift card thinking my family could use the balance also and instead they charged my credit card leaving my gift balance intact. A call to support was unhelpful as usual...

After you set up your family, any time a family member initiates a new purchase it will be billed directly to your account, unless that family member has gift or store credit. First, their store credit will be used to pay the partial or total bill. The remainder will bill to the family organizer's card.

Make sure that what you were billed for is in fact the entirety of the purchase. If the purchase cost exceeds the itunes credit available in your child's account the remainder will be billed your account. Also the credit must have been redeemed onto the account, and be available before initiating the purchase.

From these articles, it appears that as long as your child is a member of Family Sharing, he cannot use his own account. Further, if he is under age 13 (age varies by country or region), he may not leave Family Sharing.

Just verify the Organizers payment method, and as said, the charge should happen form your available gift card balance first, and only charge the organizers card if there is not enough to cover the cost of the purchase.

If the card was redeemed to the organizer's account, then only they can use the balance. Any purchases initiated by them directly will use the balance. Purchases initiated by other family members will still be directly charged to the organizer's credit card.

On each of the pockets (4 per page), there is a flap at the top that keeps your cards safe inside. They cannot fall out the top, so in case you drop your organizer, or it falls out of your bag, the cards will stay safe and organized.

You know how good it feels to check off that shoot you've been dying to get done, or hitting a deadline, that's the same feeling as pulling out the memory cards that you know you can format and use for your next shoot!

Hi:

When I bought my Nikon D500 I also ordered Photoshop Elements 2021 for Camera Raw 13.0.

The PSE 2021 Elements Organizer-Photo Downloader recognizes the D500 photos on the SDXC memory card. With the CFexpress card, however, the Elements Organizer-Photo Downloader does not recognize the D500 nor the photos.

But Windows 10 does. On the Windows 10 File Explorer is: >Nikon D500 >DCIM >100ND500 and the photos. I can get these photos by >Elements Organizer >File >Get Photos and Videos >From Files and Folders, then to Windows 10 File Explorer >Nikon D500 >DCIM >100ND500, select photos >Get Media.

Is there a more direct way to set this up so that the Elements Organizer-Photo Downloader recognizes the D500 photos on the CFexpress card in the same way it does for the SDXC card: >Elements Organizer >File >Get Photos and Videos >From Camera or Card Reader, select photos >Get Media. Switching to an XQD card as the solution is acceptable.

As Background, the D500's firmware was already configured for CFexpress cards: firmware updates C 1.30 and LD 2.018 and I'm able to record photos to this card. (I'm using a Prograde CFexpress TypeB/SD Card Reader, Sony 128GB CFexpress Type B TOUGH Memory Card, and a Sony 128GB SF-M Tough Series UHS-II SDXC Memory Card.) I have Windows 10 on a Dell desktop with Autoplay disabled.)

Comments and advice welcome.

No, the Photo Downloader doesn't recognize CFexpress cards. Maybe when the price comes down and there is wider camera support for CFexpress cards that may change. Don't forget that Photoshop Elements is primarily aimed at amateur photographers, hobbyists and business users - CFexpress is definitely still "professional photographer" territory

As it is, you've already found the workaround is to transfer the images to your computer then use From File and Folders. I'm assuming that at some point you're going to want to back up your photos from the card either by transferring them to your computer or to an external hard drive, so I'm guessing this process is going to be part of your existing workflow anyway.

I can only guess that until CFexpress starts to become the norm then adding CFexpress support to the Photo Downloader is not going to be very high on the Elements development team's priorities. However, as many "amateur photographers" are now moving up to "professional-level" cameras, I can imagine the demand for support will become stronger over time.

@johna91201604, if I plug my Sony camera into my computer via USB cable, I can use the Adobe Photo Downloader for my CFExpress Type A card. Are you using a card reader or your camera to transfer files from the card?

With additional storage space for treasured memories, the gold foil-stamped lid adds a touch of sentimentality, complete with a message that will tug at your heartstrings. I am happy to be sharing my mini holiday card organizer today. I love the ENTIRE month of December. To me it means receiving Christmas cards from loved ones near and far. Every year the cards pile up on our kitchen counter, so this year I thought I would make a hanging card holder.

Have you heard about the blog Craft Snob? Sara hosted a Bite Sized Sewing Series and invited me to share this tutorial the other week.. I LOVE her blog. It was such a pleasure to have been able to take part in her series. Thanks again!

What storage do you need for MTG? Well, this greatly depends on the quality and quantity of your collection. Are we talking about less than 1,000 cards? Between 1,000 and 5,000? Greater than that, like card shop levels?
