Dear daemon-kit users

I've spent today polishing up a 0.1.8 release but would like some feedback before releasing officially. The changes aren't that much and I've highlighted them below:

* All the generators now use Thor (which is bundled with dk and not a dependency). The previous generators were written with Rubigen, which pulled in ActiveSupport and wreaked havoc on projects using older versions of Rails.
* The previous xmpp4r-simple based jabber generator has been replaced with a shiny new xmpp generator that uses blather
* Old daemons using the Jabber abstraction layer will continue to work, but the interface has been deprecated
* Boot script issue with 0.7.12 (reported by Huberto, was fixed shortly after the 0.7.12 release)
* Documentation cleanup
* Minor bugfixes

I've got a proof-of-concept going for 0.2, which is a lot simpler than the current direction of the project. Apart from getting 0.1.8 out the door and any subsequent bug fixes, most of my attention in the coming months will be on wrapping up a 0.2 and sending this project in, what I believe, is a better direction. This work can be tracked in the "stacks" branch on github, which is highly unstable at the moment and hasn't been rebased on master in quite a while.

Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Kind regards
