This is a gig for someone who has had a long career in the business and who understands the whole value chain for feature films. Must speak well to government as well as to film people.
The NZFC administrates about $90 million in incentives and about $20 million in funding for domestic feature films and VR/AR.
The current CEO had a long career as a TV producer (with a few movies). The dude before that had a broad-based entertainment career and was head of int'l acquisitions for Universal for 4 years. The lady before that was a lifelong public servant.
I'm not sure of the salary but it's somewhere above NZ$150,000.
