Final Cut
Final Cut is a creative editorial boutique with offices in London, New York and Los Angeles. We collaborate with top directors, agencies, and artists on the most prominent commercials, feature films and music videos.
Our Los Angeles office is located in Santa Monica, and we are seeking a full-time employee to fill the Vault Manager/Runner position. This is an excellent entry-level position for those who would like to pursue a career as an editor or producer.
Specifications:
Hours: 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Workweek: Monday - Friday (some weekends will be required)
Reliable transportation required (must be insured)
Responsibilities
-Maintain organization of the media vault and digital assets
-Keep track of incoming and outgoing hard drives and technical equipment
-Run necessary errands (i.e. office supplies, technical equipment, drive deliveries/pickups, groceries, lunch)
-Attend to the needs of clientele and maintain an “awareness” of the room
-Help to maintain a clean, well-stocked office environment
-Regularly update company website using Wordpress

Production & Scheduling Coordinator

Position summary:
The Production & Scheduling Coordinator performs a wide variety of duties in support of the delivery of animal
monitoring services to the film and television production community through American Humane Hollywood’s No
Animals Were Harmed Program.
Responsibilities include:
1) Work collaboratively as part of the scheduling team to facilitate Certified Animal Safety
Representative™(CASR) assignments.
2) Provide excellent and timely communication with production and CASRs regarding scheduling, animal
action, and assignments.
3) Read scripts, one-liners, schedules to identify animal action days and intensity.
4) Manage production and scheduling database to ensure information is current.
5) Other special program-related projects.
This is a dynamic position requiring excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, prioritizing and time-
management skills, ability to multi-task, work independently and problem-solve, as well as discretion in handling
confidential information. It requires the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment, as
well as devote quiet, focused concentration to reading and reviewing production documents.
Responsibilities:
Scheduling
Support Primary Scheduler(s) in all phases of scheduling.
Analyze scripts, one-liners, and schedules, correlate the information to determine animal action days and
intensity, and enter information accurately into the database.
Assess animal action intensity, rep expertise, and location to make scheduling decisions and prioritize
animal action coverage.
Assign CASR to productions and create the daily schedule.
Monitor the Film & TV general email box for production documents and call sheets to facilitate proper
assignments. Emails range from 130-175 or more per day.
Work closely with Pre-Production to ensure timely receipt of production information.
Manage Database
Continually update the film database based on conversations with production and CASRs.
Document all communication with productions.
Liaise with CASRs and Production
Communicate daily with CASRs regarding availability and activity on all assignments, including
distribution of call sheets and relevant animal action information.
Liaise with production to secure timely information regarding call times, locations, and animal action.
Coordinate travel for CASRs.
Field animal-related calls for production, i.e., prop department, producers, coordinators, trainers
regarding animal welfare and safety. Identify situations that require additional attention and
communicate promptly with Sr. CASRs and/or Chief Veterinary Officer, or National Deputy Director on
animal welfare and safety issues on set.
Script Assignments
Prepare daily “Need to Read” report.
Determine which scripts and production documents are a priority based on shooting dates and daily
“Need to Read” report.
Read and/or distribute priority scripts to be read and import breakdown into the database.
Other & Special Assignments
Provide back up for the Pre-Production Coordinator when s/he is out of the office.
Participate in American Human-related activities, events and meetings.
