Hi Chris,

I got one of your flyers this morning re the WoyWoy rd. upgrade intentions.

Whilst the current route of the road is OK, for Peninsula dwellers, it
always seems crazy that we have to backtrack Northwards to Kariong before
heading South again on the F3.

Has any study been done regarding an alternate route, perhaps following the
railway line, and picking up the F3 near Mooney Mooney ?

This would not only provide a faster alternative route to the Peninsula, it
would also assist tourism in the area.

His command of English is impressive!

It would almost be impossible to build a new road along the railway line because of the legislative hurdles required in acquiring national parks land, not to mention the massive costs.

Cheers,
Rhidian

How about a bridge/tunnel to Palm Beach from Umina? That would help with tourism. Might even get me cycling to work.

Cheers,
Rhidian

Official response from Council:
Thus far,  with costs being totally prohibited,  bicycles would be available to all Peninsula residents, with a fast cat ferry service from Ettalong to Mooney Mooney,
followed by a single lane F3 bypass on Pacific Highway. This would be a great benefit and an effective solution to current snarl ups. In assistance with council.
