Hi Ryan and dadi team,

Thanks for such a great tool! I have used dadi/dadi-cli in the past with no issues but now I'm running into some errors when trying to import dadi on python and when calling dadi-cli at the command line. I've attached a txt file with the errors I'm getting. It seems like when dadi or dadi-cli are called, there's a problem with 'scipy.integrate', but not sure what could be going wrong. I ran into the import error on my machine, and I thought it was a problem with my anaconda and how it was set up, so I tried a few things (like re-installing scipy, dadi, and conda itself) but the error persisted. Then when I tried importing dadi and calling dadi-cli on my university's cluster, which has worked well in the past, the same errors appeared, which makes me wonder if there's a bug.

Let me know your thoughts!

Thanks,
Alejandro

Hello Alejandro,

This is caused by a recent change in scipy. The latest version of dadi on Bitbucket should fix it: https://bitbucket.org/gutenkunstlab/dadi/src/master/ . Unfortunately, we’ve run into some issues getting dadi updated on conda-forge. Are you comfortable installing from source?

Best,
Ryan
