Hey guys! I'm planning on getting a daith piercing in the deepest cartilage above my ear canal. However, I have a chronic sinus infection that requires me to frequently use drops and nasal irrigation, which can cause me to frequently pierce the area around my ears. Does a daith piercing interfere with proper hygiene and can it become infected during colds?

I've been wearing my Days for six months now, and during the spring allergies, the piercing didn't hurt at all. It's a deep hole, but if you spray the drops carefully and don't put dirty hands in the ear itself, no infection will get in. It's a bit difficult to clean, though.

I've been wearing a daith piercing for a long time, and a common cold doesn't bother it at all, since the piercing is deep inside the concha. The main thing is that everything is done sterilely from the start and the ring is properly placed. Check out information on thefalltattooing. You can also find out how much does a daith piercing cost in Vancouver. I got my piercing done by them: the piercer is professional, everything healed without the slightest swelling, so I highly recommend them.
