In the single player mode of StarCraft and StarCraft II, players can input specific phrases and words in the chat dialog box, which have a variety of effects. If entered correctly, the desired effect immediately takes place and the message 'Cheat enabled' appears on the screen. Most cheats can be simply disabled by re-entering them in the chat dialog box, but some do not toggle back off again because they can be repeated multiple times for increased effects. Any cheats that can be toggled will be disabled when loading a save file.
The cheats featured in StarCraft were implemented into the game by Mike Morhaime and include many pop-culture references.[1] Below is a list of cheats, their effects, and their references. Many of these cheats also help computer enemies. Some can be toggled on or off, while others have permanent effects that can usually be entered repeatedly. Every cheat that benefits the computer can be toggled back off again.
This page contains a list of cheats, codes, Easter eggs, tips, and other secrets for StarCraft for PC. If you've discovered a cheat you'd like to add to the page, or have a correction, please click EDIT and add it.
To build over the supply limit of 200, have your Dark Archons mind control any unit, and you can do this just as much as you want! To build over the 200 supply limit of the zerg simply have at least 8 drones and a whole lot of minerals. Next mutate them into a cheap building like a creep colony and rush back to your Hatchery (Lair or Hive) and find any larvae and mutate it into the unit that you want and then while it is mutating stop the drones from finishing and ta-da! Sadly, there is no way to build over the 200 supply limit as Terran.
In order to play the bonus level 'Dark Origin', finish the Zerg Brood War level 'The Reckoning' (level 8) within 25 minutes. This can easily be accomplished by using the invincibility cheat 'power overwhelming'.
If you are Zerg and you have a Queen and you're able to use the ability "Spawn Broodlings", than use it on an enemy non-mechanical ground unit and when the two broodlings come out of that unit, hit one of the broodlings with "Spawn Broodlings", and two Broodlings will come out of that Broodling. If you do this repeatedly than you can have an army of them.
If you click on a Protoss or Terran unit repeatedly (alternately, assign it a grouping and hold the key for that grouping), it will say acknowledge your command, then proceed to other-worldy humour. Some remarks are wry Blizzard commentary on Warcraft and their other past projects (like Diablo).
Thanks. As I remember, from the cheats you are linked (in addition to "the gathering") there are no now in SCMR only the cheats "ophelia" (hm, we can select missions in Launcher), "radio free zerg", "war aint what it used to be" (there is the cheat "black sheep wall", though it works with some changes in comparison with original SC1). I am not sure about "game over man" and "staying alive".
I know its a kinda old game but for those who remember it...i have lost all my cheats and i was wondering if anyone had good cheats for this game (for PC not N64) or a good site to get cheats from...thanx
I remember a cheat that made the Zerg Overmind sing a song called "Serve the Hive." I believe the cheat was "zerg radio" or something, and I can't remember if this was on the original or from Brood War.
This means if GameCheatsEnabled return false, the trigger is useless.
My question is when GameCheatsEnabled(c_gameCheatCategoryDevelopment) return true? or How to switch to Develop Cheat Mode?
I have called GameCheatAllow(c_gameCheatAny, true), but GameCheatsEnabled(c_gameCheatCategoryDevelopment) still return false.
It seems to need some develop cheatCode or launch parameters.
Very thanks
Also, did you know that right next to the cheat "charges" is another very good looking cheat code that is never talked about online or anywhere outside of the SC2_x64 binary :) Take a look easily by running Linux application strings or the Windows equivalent and search for cheat codes such as uncommandable or unselectable or as I said search for "charges" (all of these cheats will be clustered close to each other in a string dump). You will then see what cheat code I am talking about right after "charges" gets registered. You cannot invoke it easily, but it is there waiting for something to find it. Just like the string "UNPROTECTED_BINARY" can be found in every build of SC2_x64 for years. No one (as far as I know outside of Blizzard/now-Microsoft knows what it means/does/indicates/usefulness/etc.., but it is there. Although in the hidden cheat code next to "charges" there is actual code that registers it unlike an obscure strange string in the middle of nowhere in memory with zero xrefs such as "UNPROTECTED_BINARY".
EDIT: Checked the mission, the usual combination and strat will do it. Build up your first base, make sure you keep Overlords at the entrances for detection and once comfy expand to the high ground attached to your base, two very easy expansions with a single point of entry. You will need Overlords at those entrances too. For units start with Hydralisks and Zerglings then drop the Zerglings for Ultralisks once you have them. From there, mass and win.
I broke down and used cheat codes to finish that mission. The one after was even worse - even with unlimited resources and instant construction I was getting shredded by the Terran/Zerg combined forces, so I went all out and entered the God mode cheat. Oh well, at least I finished the bonus mission without any cheats.
The 2nd time I played, I put a zergling to each direction to give me warnings. Then I group all forces to defend. Then I moved the defense on the south side west so it can also protect the 2nd base before I build it. With at least 30 hydralisk in there, the south west defense network attracted enemy attack and protected the 2nd base. Laster I got enough hydralisk in the north side and push that direction to protect the 3rd base as well as the main base. After that, it was easy to reach the first 3 beacons.
When testing a document from the editor, the Test Document Cheats are available. These are special chat commands that allow for game-time actions like creating units and modifying resources. They save developers from having to hand design special triggers for commonly performed testing tasks. These cheats are broken down in the table below.
When testing a document from the editor, Actor Cheats are also available. These cheats provide a number of ways to create and control Actors without needing to create custom testing provisions. It should be noted that
actor cheats are the only way to debug actors, as the Trigger Debugger does not contain any information about them due to their asynchronous nature. Actor cheats are similar to test document cheats in that they are activated by entering text into the in-game chat.
A particularly useful actor cheat command is actorinfodisplay. This command will display an in-game overlay showing how many actors and actor scopes are currently active, along with other useful information. The following images show the actor stats before and after a stress test trial.
Back when Game Genie gave unskilled gamers a way to cheat, Nintendo could do nothing but unsuccessfully sue the maker, Galoob, for copyright infringement. With the rise of online connectivity, game makers finally have a workaround to third-party cheats: They can punish the players instead.
The normal Blizzard cheat codes do exactly this, turning off achievement progress if you activate them. The third party cheat mechanisms are what Blizzard is opposed to, and while the penalty seems rather harsh, I can't argue with them trying to stop it.
Placing limits on almost every facet of the game with the vague promise of lifting them in the future is the only thing this company can do to hold the interest of its players. The singe player and mutliplayer are absolute trash compared to the first Starcraft.
They have all the cheats they want without moding the game. They were using the cheats to manipluate thier online profiles so it's not an "offline" part that got them banned. They cheated in single player to manipulate achievement progress. If they had used the game with the cheat in offline mode there wouldn't have been a problem but they wanted to cheat the online part of the system. And yes you can play it without battle.net just wait at the login screen for 5 min and it will ask you.
Unlike console games that require long codes or hidden button combinations to trigger cheats, PC gamers have a much easier time. You can start cheating in Starcraft 2 by simply opening the chat window and pressing the Enter key. This will open a window where you simply enter one of the cheats below, hit Enter once more, and see the effect take place.
Hades 2's Melino is a very different main character from the first game's Zagreus in terms of personality and in how she fights. Being a witch, magic is core to her moveset, but she still wields all sorts of new weapons. You won't find the standard sword or spear here, as she starts off with just a witch's staff . You'll need to unlock the rest in traditional roguelike fashion. Each item requires you to gather up different materials, but most have some overlap so you will need to be selective about which one you craft first. We're still in the early access period, but for now, here are all the Nocturnal Arms in the game and how you can unlock them.
How to unlock every Nocturnal Arm
Ignoring the Witch's Staff, which you start with, there are four additional weapons to unlock.
Sister Blades
These fast, close-range melee daggers are the easiest to unlock and cost one Silver.
Umbral Flames
This is a medium-range weapon that prioritizes magic and fire attacks for three Silver and three Cinder.
Moonstone Axe
The heavy Moonstone Axe is your big, but slow damage dealer. It will cost you 15 Silver to pick up, so you will need to save up a bit.
Argent Skull
This si an explosive casting weapon that won't be available to unlock until you reach a certain point in the game that we won't spoil here. It will cost you two Glassrock and one Bronze to make.
