As we are still preparing for the� National Conference on Ethnic Chinese as Filipinos next month, we can meet about this other event probably in June.
For now, is anyone interested in supporting this event, whether in going to Manila, sending delegates to Manila, or organizing local counterparts of the events?

on behalf of the kaisa board (cc'ed in this email), i would like to already extend our invitation to you, your organizations and the tsinoy community in your locale to the 4th tsinoy national convention to be held on august 30 - september 1, 2012.
the convention aims to inspire today's chinese-filipino youth to take pride in their multicultural heritage and to engage in social development.

the three-day convention, �Shared Destiny, Building New Bridges�, will consist of a series of independent events for high school and university students, parents, professionals, entrepreneurs, and community leaders.

these events include interactive dialogue with exemplars from the ethnic Chinese community, project ideas competition, consortium for nation building, web-based and community-wide project launches, outdoor trips, leadership workshop, among many others (see attached).
we would like to discuss with you how we can
bring the messages of the convention closer to the tsinoy youth
outside metro manila. is it possible for you to conduct some of
the convention events in your locale?
