Installing dsiprouter on Debian 11 (Proxmox VE)

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has any luck with installing dsiprouter master branch on a Debian 11 virtual machine. I am running Proxmox VE at home for virtualization and I am trying to install dsiprouter from the master branch following the instructions from readthedocs.

I have tried Debian 10, 11 and 12, CentOS 7, 8 and 9. The install almost always fails, I have had some luck on Debian 11. First installation failed, after uninstalling and installing again on the same machine the installation was succesfull, however I could not get into the web interface, the Nginx web server displays a 502 bad gateway error.

I have a ''succesfull' installation on Debian 11. The error I see in the nginx error_log is the following.

Look like dsiprouter is not running, the service seems to be running though.

I've had success recently installing a fresh instance on Debian 11 VM. I believe I've also previously had success on Debian 12.

Are you installing a minimal instance of Debian? I downloaded a qcow2 Debian file and quickly spin up a VM

Hi,

Thank you for your response. I am using the NETISO image from the debian website on my VM. I have not yet tried a qcow2 image. I will try that tonight.
