Hello, Ballers!
Thanksgiving break is in a little over a week! Personally, I think it would do all of us a great deal to take a break, as virtual learning makes weekends pretty much non-existent! Considering how the break is coming up, teachers are probably trying to cram in last-minute tests (at least for me). This email is on the shorter side, so it will not take much out of your day to read through!

This email will include the following:
  • District Updates
    • DCON 2021 Manuals
  • Division Updates
    • Division Goals 2020-2021: Progress
    • November DWF: Fall Cooking Class (RECAP)
    • November DWS: Thanksgiving Service
  • Upcoming Events
    • November DCM: New Member Orientation

  • District Updates
    • DCON 2021 Manuals

Have you started planning for DCON 2021? Don't know where to begin? The CNH DCON Committee has created resources to help you through every step of the way. Go to this link on the CyberKey in order to check out the DCON Manual, Fundraising Guide, and more! The DCON Overview/FAQ can be found pasted at the bottom of the page. The price breakdown goes as follows:
  • On-Time Registration Fee: $226
    • Due by February 26th, 2021
  •  Late Registration Fee: $263
    • Due by March 12th, 2021
More information about DCON 2021 will be released soon! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please contact DCON Chair Harin Lee at cnhkc...@gmail.com

Question of the Day: Would you rather take a one week trip to the foreign country of your choice or take a four-week trip around the United States? (Feel free to email me/reply back with your response to the question!)

  • Division Updates
    • Division Goals 2020-2021: Progress
I have not done a goals update in a fairly long time, and after the success of this month's fundraiser, we have made great progress! Here are the most recent statistics:
  • 2,365.64/4,200 Service Hours
  • $1,002.40/$3,500 for PTP
    • $50 for Jumpstart
    • $30 for The Loveland Foundation
  • $503.10/$1,000 for MNT
  • Charter at least (1) club
    • Currently in the midst of chartering two!
We have reached over half of our service hour goal and have raised over $1,000 for PTP! Great work guys, and let's keep those service events coming!
    • November DWF: Fall Cooking Class (RECAP)
Yesterday, we held our first joint-fundraiser with Division 8 Kiwanis! Heidi Cotler from Benicia Kiwanis hosted a cooking class teaching attendees how to make a few fall dishes and desserts; baked chicken with gravy, autumn roasted vegetables, and pumpkin pudding cake. If you were not able to attend, no worries! All the ingredients list & recipes can be accessed here, so feel free to make it in your free time. All in all, we are able to make a staggering $595 in donations for PTP from Kiwanis as well as Key Clubbers! A huge thank you to everyone that attended and make this event a success in and of itself. Who knows? Maybe we might host a Winter Cooking Class? ~(˘▾˘~) Secretaries, don't forget to put this down as a Kiwanis Family Event on MRP!
    • November DWS: Thanksgiving Service

A reminder of our asynchronous service event, Thanksgiving Service! Create Thanksgiving cards to show gratitude to those around you. Members have all month to complete this task, and when you do so, please make sure to submit your hours to this form or go to bit.ly/novemberdws to get accounted for. Make sure to fill out the form with your name, school, the amount of time spent on the project, and a picture for proof. The form will close on November 30th at 11:59 PM

  • Upcoming Events
    • November DCM: New Member Orientation

Key Club offers members so many opportunities for leadership and recognition that it would be difficult to fit the overload of information into a mere club meeting. This is where our DCM comes in handy! Our November DCM will focus on educating both new and returning members about the benefits of joining/staying with Key Club. It will take place on Sunday, November 22nd from 2 - 4 PM. Division 8's Division Leadership Team will be giving presentations on the following topics:
  • Who we are & what we do
    • Our impact
  • Membership Recognition Program (recognition & awards that YOU can earn)
  • Key Club structure (Club to International level)
    • Leadership opportunities
  • And much more!
I highly encourage attending this event if you would like to check off a slot on MRP! (Not sure what I'm referring to? Attend the DCM to find out (・ω<)). Throughout the event, we will be having short breaks and icebreakers in between to get to know one another! There will also be opportunities to win division prizes (stickers, shirts, etc.) so be sure to come ready to learn and attentive. You can sign up for the event using this link or visit bit.ly/d8orientation
