District Updates

Virtual District Convention 2021

Drum roll please…VIRTUAL DISTRICT CONVENTION 2021 is almost here! DCON will take place from Friday, April 9th to Sunday, April 11th. DCON will cost $8 per attendee up until March 31st, 2021 at 11:59 PM PST, in which late fees will be in effect and cost $12 per attendee. To register, simply go to https://www.cnhkeyclub.org/events/dcon/dcon-registration and pay online! DCON celebrates the hard work of all members and officers reflects on everything the divisions and the district have accomplished. Members from throughout the district are invited to attend a weekend-long conference to attend workshops, listen to keynote speakers, and vote on the incoming District Executives. Additionally, the old District Board officers will be officially retired and the elected 2021-2022 Lieutenant Governors will be officially installed! We highly encourage you to attend!

New CNH DCON Instagram

With the mention of DCON Registration officially open, a new DCON Instagram account has also been started in order to provide updates and important information regarding the event. Make sure to follow @cnh_dcon to learn all of the changes we’ve made to DCON in a virtual environment!

Division 8 T-Shirt Order Form

T-shirt design voting has come to a conclusion… Division 8 t-shirts are finally here! Go rep Division 8 by purchasing a Division 8 t-shirt at bit.ly/d8tshirtorder! T-shirts cost $12 each. Make sure to purchase before the deadline of Friday, March 26th @ 11:59 PM, or late fees will be in effect!

Division 8 Mini Spirit Pack Order Form

In addition to the t-shirts, we have also created a Division 8 mini spirit pack! These spirit packs will include the following:

(1) Division 8 t-shirt

(1) Lanyard

Note that the mini spirit pack includes a t-shirt as a default. In total, the spirit pack costs $17. By ordering an entire spirit pack instead of buying each item separately, you save $10! Question of the Day: What are some skills or hobbies you’ve learned over the pandemic?

Nayfa: Personally, I’ve been painting more and getting more in touch with my artistic side!

Miah: At the beginning of the pandemic, I was scrolling through Reddit for a while and stumbled upon the world of custom mechanical keyboards! Now, I can’t stop buying keyboard parts :D

Sophia: Over quarantine, I started to watch K-dramas and anime. I used to detest anime, but watching The Promised Neverland changed my mind about anime. So, I guess one of my hobbies I’ve learned is to like and watch anime! :)

March DCM: Baby Shower & Mukbang

For our LAST DCM of the 2020-2021 term, we will be hosting a baby shower to introduce our new LTG as well as holding a group mukbang! We highly encourage you to come by to say farewell to our current LTG and give a warm welcome to the newly-born LTG Miah Chao! To incorporate the mukbang aspect, we will be hosting another Dine n’ Donate. Read on to learn more information about it.

March DWF: Panda Express Fundraiser

Division 8 Key Club is hosting a fundraiser with Panda Express! All proceeds will go directly to PTP, but you MUST order online for us to receive the funds. You can find more information on how to order on the Event Page.

WHERE: Nationwide (so if you have any family/friends in other states, let them know as well!)

March DWS: St. Patrick's Day Trivia

Our final DWS and trivia night of this term will be at the end of March, so make sure to attend and bond with other members if you have time! To fit with the holiday-themed trivia, this month’s will be "St. Patrick's Day themed." There will be an interactive icebreaker and Kahoot consisting of trivia questions from four-leaf clovers to leprechauns! Also, there is an OPTIONAL donation of $2 that will go to PTP. We want as many people to attend as possible, so please spread the news to your friends and members!
