Hello, Ballers!
This email is being set out at an unconventional time, not as one of my bi-weekly email updates, but as a special announcement! Read on to find out!
Get excited because our annual Region 9 Olympics with Jade KIWIN'S is finally here! This year, we will be hosting a virtual Region Olympics over Zoom!
Join us as we explore Serving IN and OUT of our Communities on Saturday, August 1st from 1 PM - 5 PM! Get to bond with all of Region 9 and Jade KIWIN'S through various games and activities. We also have other things prepared such as a virtual love box, Q&A sessions, and skits on how to get through burnout!

REMINDER: Presidents you MUST fill out an ERF for your club to attend the event. Also, keep in mind that you need chaperones that have a background check with Kiwanis present throughout the event!
Since this is an event co-hosted by other divisions, attendees must have a signed and completed ERF in order to attend. Attached below is the Event Request Form for R9 Olympics. Club presidents MUST fill out and email the ERF to me (d08.cn...@gmail.com) with their advisor's approval. I will then forward the email to the respective individuals. They do not need to worry about their Region Advisor and District Administrator's signatures as the event has been approved by them.
You must be accompanied by a chaperone who has a background check with Kiwanis present throughout the event. Clubs may share a chaperone, however, chaperones must agree to it first.
IMPORTANT: To confirm that you have the approval to attend this event, the advisor (whether it be faculty or Kiwanis) must either:
Physically sign the paper, scan, and email the copy to me OR have your advisor send me an email approving your attendance at the event and the acknowledgment of the ERF. Either way, please utilize the ERF attached below, and be sure to ask your advisor(s) for approval! [Only ONE is needed per school]
In addition, if you are worried about faculty not being available to approve, refer to the bottom of page 2 on the ERF. If a faculty advisor is absent, the Kiwanis advisor can sign in place.

A PTP dare fundraiser will take place throughout the event! Dare your favorite group leader for a good cause!

THE LAST DAY TO SUBMIT YOUR DARES IS THE 25th OF JULY BY 6:00 PM!
Lastly, don't forget to send your appreciation notes to our virtual love box! We will be reading all the notes sent to our virtual love box during breaks so don't miss this opportunity and shoot your appreciation letters using the link down below!
