Hello, Ballers!
We are nearing the end of the term, which means this marks one of the last emails I write! Please read the rest of this email carefully, as it contains very important information regarding District & Division happenings!
This email will include the following:

- New Membership Goal: 30,000 Members
In order to accommodate the ongoing pandemic, the CNH membership goal has been lowered to 30,000 members. This goal can be achieved by increasing 12+ members per club after the initial member recruitment season.
If you do not already know, we are in a dire membership crisis. We encourage all club officers, members, advisors to assist us with achieving the goal of recruiting at least 12 new members to your club. If you need any help with membership recruitment, please do not hesitate to reach out to me or any of the DLT members. In the meantime, please check out resources from the Cyberkey that can assist you with this process!
- Virtual District Convention 2021
Get excited...because DCON 2021 is going VIRTUAL! Now you'll be able to experience our biggest District event from the comfort of your own home. Convention dates will still be April 9th-11th, 2021. Registration details will be released shortly, so BEE sure to keep an eye out! Reach out to District Convention Chair Kristen Carpio with any questions at cnhkc...@gmail.com!

- Division Goals 2020-2021: Progress
- 5,132.89/5,000 Service Hours [102.66%]
- Seeing as how we have surpassed our new goal, the next Service Hours goal is now 5,500 hours!
- $1,498.83/$2,000 for PTP [74.94%]
- $603.10/$750 for MNT [80.41%]
- Charter at least (1) club [100%]
- As of November 9th, Jesse Bethel has been chartered and joined Division 8!
- Division 8 Mini Spirit Pack Interest Form
We revamped this year's spirit pack to not include items that could be used in a rally since there's still the high possibility that it will not happen! Instead, the Spirit Coordinators created a cheaper and more "memorabilia" version of the spirit pack. The mini spirit pack includes:
- Division shirt (see below)
- Three Division stickers
- Bracelet
- Lei
Please fill out this form or visit bit.ly/intspiritpack to learn more/sign up! By filling out the interest form, this does not solidify your decision to purchase the pack. We are simply gathering how many people are interested, and depending on the numbers, we will release an official order form in the near future!
- Division 8 T-Shirt Design Voting Form
The moment you have all been waiting for, the t-shirt design voting form for this term! This is a clear sign that t-shirt orders are fast approaching as well. Before we get started on that, we need to vote on the design that goes on said t-shirt. Vote for your favorite design here or at bit.ly/d8shirtvoting.
Since we want to get orders open as soon as possible, the voting form will close in on Wednesday, March 10th @ 11:59 PM. From then on, we will release the official t-shirt order form, begin production, and lastly, distribution!
What is something that takes up too much of your time and what would you rather be doing? Personally, my AP Chem homework takes me so much time to finish because half the time I don't understand how to do it, and I would rather be outside running because I am trying to get back into shape! (Which has been put on a hold due to upcoming AP exams :'))
- Upcoming Events
- March DCM: Baby Shower & Mukbang
As we enter into the second to last month of the term, March also marks the last DCM of the term! To cap off the term, we will be holding a baby shower & mukbang to introduce elect Miah Chao and dine together!
In addition, to incorporate the mukbang aspect, we will be hosting another Dine n' Donate, but with Panda Express! We encourage you to purchase food from Panda Express because all proceeds made will be donated to PTP! (I wanted to get the word out of the event as soon as possible but we are still waiting on approval from Panda Express themselves. However, it is likely that it will happen!) Event details are as follows:
- WHEN: Saturday, March 27th from 1 - 3 PM
- WHERE: Zoom | Sign up will be released soon!
- March DWS: St. Patrick's Day Trivia
Our last trivia night occurs in March, which means this will be the last live service event of the term! Therefore, we wanted to make this event open to as many people as possible. To fit with the holidays, the trivia will be "St. Patrick's Day themed." There will be an optional donation of $2 that will go to a selected charity. But please note that this is optional and not required! Details of the event are below:

- St. Patrick's Service Week 3/15-3/19
Our second service week starts next week, Monday, March 15th, and will last until Friday, March 19th! Due to the success of our last service week, we decided to hold another one! Please stay tuned on our socials to get a preview of the graphics as well as reminders to perform the daily activities. The form to record your service hours will be released soon!

- Run as many miles as you can to get away from the pinching Leprechauns!
- Friday: 3/19
- Leprechaun Chalk Messages
- Create positive and fun notes from Leprechauns!
