d4os future

here is the actual situation :
i have planned to make things during the spring time but i was called
to go on tour during 3 months, so i could not make anything and i will
need to follow my irl job during summer time.

i will need to check the functions of d4os using opensim 0.7.x soon
because the grid that is hosting the main code will need to upgrade.

but if i would build a new version for d7, this would be a complete
rewrite (no need of all of these hooks and need object oriented
system).

i don't think that i will have time to think about this during this
summer.
i think that if i take time to build something else, this could be on
this autumn time (this means that if you need to build something with
it, you take a risk to don't have an upgrade)

in fact, i would like to rebuild sluser and d4os in an unique
universal system.
if you have any idea to build something universal, you can join the
conversation in http://groups.drupal.org/metaverse or build your own
one if you are in a rush (because im not in dev mode actually) :)

Thank you for your fast answers in all. Can you change the module to
drupal 7 and better support for opensim 0.7.0.2.
