Dear Members,

Greetings from the District Governor's desk. This is to bring to you news from the recently concluded Semi Annual Conference of District 41, Resonance 2014. I would like to begin by thanking each and every member who contributed to make this event a success.

For those of you who missed, contests were indeed "Clash of the Titans", the results:

Evaluations Contest:

First Runners-up       :  Taskeen Fatimah Basha       Division H

Second Runners-up   :  Pratibha Ryali                      Division B

Humorous Speech Contest:

Winner                     :  Mandeep Saini                    Division C

First Runners-up       :  Amit Prashant Jha              Division E

Second Runners-up   :  Venkata Raman Dittakavi    Division F

The council meetings were indeed a chance to interact with the clubs. In terms of learning, we had the International Director Deepak Menon DTM in his official capacity, World Champion of Public Speaking 2005 Lance Miller DTM, D41 Champion Aditya Maheshwaran DTM and D 82(the old D 82) champion Rajdeep Manwani DTM as the speakers who delivered wonderful sessions and had the audience eating out of their hands. 

Incidentally, Mumbai conference, Oration 2014, in May, has already reached the magical figure of 450 registrations. Looking forward to seeing you all at "Amchi Mumbai"
