Dear Toastmasters Family,

Four years ago District 41 was born from District 82. In the last four years our District has grown tremendously not only in quality but also in the number of clubs, so much so that Toastmasters International gave us the "go ahead" to split the district again, into D41 and proposed D98.

This mail is to seek leaders for next term to help these two Districts grow even further. Would you like to be a part of the team that leads our Districts? If yes, here's your chance to develop yourself as a leader.

The elections for D41, and proposed D 98 are coming up at the District Council Meeting to be held at the annual conference Oration 2015 in Mumbai from 15-17th May 2015. We are seeking nominations for the year 2015-2016 for the following officer roles 

for proposed District 98 

District Director (earlier known as District Governor)
Program Quality Director (earlier known as LGET)
Club Growth Director (earlier known as LGM)

6 Division Directors (earlier known as Division Governor) based on the proposed divisions with their geographies.


1 Division A    Mumbai, Gujarat, MP
2 Division B    Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Raigad
3 Division C    Pune
4 Division D    Goa, Pune
5 Division E      Hyd AP, Nagpur
6 Division F      Hyd Telengana




for District 41

District Director (earlier known as District Governor)
Program Quality Director (earlier known as LGET)
Club Growth Director (earlier known as LGM)

6 Division Directors (earlier known as Division Governor)  based on the proposed divisions with their geographies.


Division A: Gurgaon (Mainly clubs of existing Division A in Gurgaon)
Division B: Gurgaon (Mainly clubs of existing Division C in Gurgaon) + Rajasthan
Division C: Noida (mainly clubs in the main city)
Division D: Noida (Clubs on express way+ phase II)+ Punjab+ Faridabad
Division E: Delhi
Division F: East India

Eligibility Criteria:

* At the time of taking office, the district director must have served at least twelve consecutive months as a lieutenant governor or division governor or a combination thereof. 

* At the time of taking office, the program quality director and club growth director must have served at least six consecutive months as a club president and at least 12 consecutive months as a lieutenant governor, division governor, area governor, or a combination thereof.

* A division director must have served at least six consecutive months as a member of a district council (e.g., club president, vice president education, area governor, district secretary, district treasurer).

A more detailed description of each of these roles and the qualifications required are given in the attached document.

Please note in our Districts District Director, Program Quality Director, Club Growth Director and Division Directors are elected. 

PR Manager, Finance Manager, Administration Manager and Area Directors are not elected. They will be appointed by the incoming District Director.

Self-nomination will be accepted in addition to nomination by someone else on your behalf. 

 

Applicants for Division Director position should mention name of the division to be served (proposed A - F). 

The attached 'Officer Agreement and Release Form' should also be printed, signed, scanned and sent to the Nominating Committee Chair along with the nomination form. 

 

The deadline for receipt of nominations is midnight of March 25th, 2015, IST. 

 

After all nominations have been received by the aforesaid due date, the Nominating Committee shall interview and screen candidates for eligibility and suitability and prepare the nomination slate.  The slate shall be announced to the district at least 4 weeks before the elections which are scheduled to be held on 16th May, 2015 in Mumbai.

Members: Arun Mittal, Summit Agarwal,  Neha Agarwal, C.V. Ram,  Richa Mathur, Amit Shroti,  Ritesh Osta, Satyadip Basu 

 
We all learn so many leadership lessons in Toastmasters. We learn to become better listeners, better speakers and better leaders, skills that help us in all aspects of our lives, personal as well as professional.
