Divisions 34 North and 34 South are searching for Key Clubbers to compete, perform, judge, or attend our 17th annual Mr. Key Club Pageant! Inspired by the hit film Crazy Rich Asians, this year's theme is...Crazy Rich Key Clubbers!
This pageant is the chance for D34N and D34S to come together for a friendly competition and crown our 2021 Mr. Key Club, all while raising money for the Pediatric Trauma Program. Contestants will model formal, casual, and spirit attire, impress you with their magnificent talents, and more—all things you will not want to miss! Not only will you see contestants showcase their skills through various activities, but there will also be guest performances, a raffle for Visa gift cards, and the opportunity to bond with our division counterparts. With your help, all proceeds from the event will go towards the Pediatric Trauma Program, which aims to save children from pediatric trauma or unintentional injury, the #1 killer of children under 14 in the United States.
Event Logistics:
Who: Division 34N/34S Key Clubs **Non-Key Clubbers are welcome to attend!**
Date: Saturday, March 20th, 2021
Time: 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM | Contestants, performers, and judges will arrive earlier for a debriefing at 4 PM, but it will be short enough not to conflict with D34N’s DCM at 4:30 PM.
Location: Zoom - The link will only be sent out to registered attendees the day before the event!
Contestants:
Calling all guys within D34N, D34S, or non-key clubbers: we need YOU to sign up to compete! Not only will you have the chance to strut your stuff while vying for the title of Mr. Key Club, but you will also be representing the division you serve in a fun and supportive environment. Without contestants, this pageant won't be able to run!
Sign-ups to be a contestant will close on Saturday, March 13th at 11:59 PM!
Performers/Judges:
If you would like to participate in a different way, you can also sign up to be a guest performance or judge! Performers can either submit a video beforehand or perform live on zoom. Judges will be responsible for grading and deciding on who wins the title of Mr. Key Club 2021. It is strongly encouraged that each club has at least ONE contestant or ONE judge or ONE guest performer to accurately represent each club at the event.
Sign-ups to be a performer will close on Saturday, March 13th at 11:59 PM!
Sign-ups to be a Judge will close on Wednesday, March 17th at 11:59 PM!
Attendees:
If none of the above options sound appealing to you, you’re more than welcome to attend the event as a regular attendee! You’ll still have opportunities to participate throughout the event and can cheer on your fellow Key Clubbers. Officers, be sure to notify your advisors to fill out the registration form, so that they can also attend!
