Hello – my name is Ed Aron and your on-line resume has some matches for a full-time permanent Data Visualization Developer position we are working on with a highly reputable worldwide Financial Services company located in Midtown Manhattan.
 
What is the job?
You will design and develop dynamic, user-facing interactive dashboards with high-performing responsiveness, performance, usability and visual appeal. This position will have you working from initial design through implementation and requires strong communication skills for user feedback and evolution of the product.
 
What do I need to have?

1. D3.js – the must-have technology for this position
2. Charting library technologies such as Plotly.js and Highcharts are nice-to-have
3. 5+ years of data visualization experience, preferably within a financial-services setting
4. UI technology experience with Angular, React, Backbone/Marionette, Ember, HTML, CSS, etc.
5. AWS and Hadoop are pluses
6. Cross-browser compatibility knowledge
