That's spooky we are about to reach another quarter. I'm so happy to see clubs running and back in the Key Club spirit. Let's bring it on! ALSO, don't forget to PAY YOUR DUES :)

October DCM
Let's celebrate the spooky season together! While dressed up, we will be talking about how to deal with stress and how to take care of your mental health and wellbeing. Also, we will be watching the LTG cut her hair live.

Cutting Hair for PTP Fundraiser
In the spirit of celebrating PTP week coming up, we will be holding a fundraiser. LTG Feliza will be cutting her hair LIVE at the October DCM. Every $30 donated, she will cut off ONE INCH of hair.
Last day to donate is Tuesday, October 13th @ 12 PM.

How to Donate:
2. Click the donate button
3. Select "General Donations" as your team
4. Choose any amount you like to donate
5. Enter in your Name
6. In the comments, write "From Division 28 South"
7. Choose "Personal Fund"
8. Enter your billing information
9. Screenshot the confirmation page + email you donated

PTP Week
PTP Week is about raising awareness for Pediatric Trauma. Each day, members can participate in different activities to promote PTP. Attached below is the Instagram Ad for PTP Week where members can find the theme for each day. Please encourage your clubs to participate in this event and use the hashtag #CNHPTP2020. We look forward to seeing your posts on October 12-16, 2020!!

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF
UNICEF (United Nations Children’s Fund) aims to provide humanitarian and developmental aid to children worldwide. Every year during the month of October, Key Clubbers will put on their best costumes and carry around the Trick-or-Treat boxes and raise money for UNICEF by going door to door around their neighborhood! HOWEVER!! This year we are VIRTUAL! A President or Advisor must register the club on trickortreatforunicef.org and use the code TOT-Kiwanis. Fundraising will be through the entire month of October and should be done entirely ONLINE!

For those having issues registering:
1. Make sure to select Group/Club
2. Birth Year: 2000
3. Group Dropdown: Select Club/After School Activity NOT KIWANIS
4. After Registering, enter code: TOT-KIWANIS

Cali-Nev-Ha Pen Pals
Are you ready to make a new friend across the district? Want to meet someone new from California, Nevada, or Hawaii? Sign up for district pen pals! There will be challenges for you to do throughout the term and a chance for recognition, so don't pass up this opportunity!Link: tinyurl.com/cnhpenpals2021 by October 20th 11:59 PM to meet someone new.

YOF Grant
The YOF Grant has been open for a while! Please make sure to take advantage of this opportunity to help out your club.

YOF Grants are only given to Key Clubs. Grants are not given to divisions or districts.
Grants amounts between $250 to $2,000 may be requested.
Applications must be submitted online by October 15th at 11:59, EST
Applications are reviewed by the Key Club board at the November meeting.
Grant applicants are emailed of outcomes the week of January.
A list of grant recipients is posted online in the third week of January.
The previous year's dues must be paid before YOF grant checks can be issued.
A YOF Final Grant Report is due at the end of the grant cycle (January 1st).

Mario Ka-RTC Registration + Membership Meter
Join us at Regional Training Conference! We will train YOU along with other Key Clubbers across LAS VEGAS about service and leadership! Learn more about what is Key Club and we have to offer, participated in a service project, and fun-filled activities throughout the day.

Logistics:
When: Saturday, October 24th
Time: 10 am - 2pm
Where: Google Meets
Cost: FREE!
The form will CLOSE October 10th! This is a hard deadline.
