This email is being sent by the 2019-2020 Division 28 South Member Recognition Coordinator, Jackie Wu.

With only three months left in the 2019-2020 Key Club term, it's time to recognize members for their hard work and dedication through the Member Recognition Program (MRP). Please contact your club secretary for your standings.

MRP Rubric Breakdown
There are four different levels: bronze, silver, gold, and platinum. In order to qualify for a specific level, the member must serve the minimum number of hours and complete a minimum of categories.
  • To be a member of the bronze level, members must serve a minimum of 50 hours and complete 5 out of 9 categories.
  • To be a member of the silver level, members must serve a minimum of 100 hours and complete 6 out of 9 categories.
  • To be a member of the gold level, members must serve a minimum of 150 hours and complete 9 out of 13 categories.
  • To be a member of the platinum level, members must serve a minimum of 200 hours and complete 10 out of 13 categories.

The 13 categories include:
Training Events
This includes RTC, CTC, OTC, etc.
Kiwanis Family Events
These include Kiwanis DCMs, Kiwanis events (Fireworks Booth, Golf Tournament, etc.)
Interclubs
These are events that are held with another branch of the Kiwanis Family (K-Kids, Builder's Club, Key Club, Circle K, or Kiwanis). This includes DCMs, socials, or service projects, depending on the number of members attending.
  • If a club has 20 or fewer members, at least TWO members present from any branch of the Kiwanis Family.

  • If a club has 21-30 members, at least THREE members present from any branch of the Kiwanis Family.

  • If your club has 31 or more members, at least FOUR members present from any branch of the Kiwanis Family.

Division Events
This includes RTC, DCMs, division socials, etc.
District Events
This includes FRS, DCON, etc.
International Events
This includes ICON, KICON, etc.
Articles/Visuals Submitted
Submitting an article (a short paragraph) or visual (a picture) on a Key Club or volunteer event to your club editor or D28S News Editor Kara will be counted towards this total, whether or not they are used in the newsletter.
Event or Project Chair
The chairman of a club, division, district, or service event/project committee). 
Division/Region/District Workshop Facilitator
Presenting a workshop at RTC, OTC, CTC, DCON, etc.
Club Committee Member
Involvement in any committee within the club. The chair of the committee is also considered a member of the said committee.
Division/District Committee Member
Serving on a division or district committee. D28S offers the Spirit Team and Division Judging Committee, while the CNH District offers the Visual Media Editing Team and District Judging Committee.
Club/Leadership Position
Holding an officer position in any level of Key Club, whether elected or appointed.
Lives Saved from MNT
This is determined by different MNT fundraisers members have participated in. $1.80 equates to 1 life saved from MNT.

Logging the MRP
Clubs may vary in the person in charge of the MRP, but typically it is done by the club secretary or vice president. There is a MRP tab in the MRF, which is a great way to keep track of the data.

Reporting the MRP 
MRP Information is due January 26, 2020 by 6:00PM to LTG Megen (d28s.cn...@gmail.com). A pre-made file was sent out by CNH MR Chair Queenie, so please utilize that for your submission.
