What is District Convention? ･ﾟ✧

District Convention is an annual event hosted by the California-Nevada-Hawaii District of Key Club International! This event is mainly to celebrate the hard-work of all the members and officers and to reflect on everything your division and the district have accomplished. Members from throughout the district are invited to attend a weekend-long conference to attend workshops, listen to keynote speakers, and vote on the incoming District Executives. Additionally, the old District Board officers will be officially retired and the elected 2021-2022 Lieutenant Governors will be officially installed! Event Information below: 

• Dates: Friday, April 9th, 2021 - Sunday, April 11th, 2021

• Location: Online through Zoom and YouTube Live

• Theme: Stargazing in Service! 

Why Should You Attend? ･ﾟ✧

Along with celebrating the hard work of all the members and officers of the District this term, below are some activities that will be incorporated into the virtual convention:

• Interactive workshops on all officer positions
• District awards and scholarship announcements
• Engaging activities through our District Discord server to meet new friends all over California, Nevada, and Hawaii!
• Watch our Lt. Governor-Elect, Irma, get installed!
• A SPECIAL Guest Speaker/Performer: AJ Rafael!
• And much more that you will NOT want to miss!

How to Register for DCON 2021 ･ﾟ✧

This year we have a NEW Registration process where each attendee can register individually AND pay through PayPal! Simply follow the steps below to register:

1. Go to the CNH CyberKey at cnhkeyclub.org

2. Click on the Events tab > District Convention > DCON Registration

3. Complete the registration process and enter all information requested

4. Agree to the Code of Conduct linked HERE

5. Select how you plan on paying for Registration (through PayPal or Check)

6. Press Submit and receive a confirmation email!

We are also having a REFERRAL PROGRAM where we will be rewarding members who refer the most people to attend DCON! The program will work through the steps below:

1. Recruit a friend to attend CNH DCON with you!

2. Have them state your name, school, and email when they register online.

3. Members who recruit the highest numbers of referrals will be rewarded with very special prizes!

Delegate Registration ･ﾟ✧

This year, Delegate Registration is included with the individual registration process. Each club must send a maximum of two members to serve as Delegates for the Caucus and House of Delegates portion of DCON, where you will be voting for the 2021-2022 District Executives and on any Bylaw Amendments. Please follow the steps below if you are selected as one of two delegates from your club:

1. Select “YES” that you are a Delegate on the registration website.

2. Enter the names and emails of your club President, Faculty advisor, and/or your Kiwanis advisor.

Delegates will be voting on the next Executive Board (District Governor, District Secretary, District Treasurer) for the 21-22 term. More information will be sent directly to those who register as delegates regarding the official voting process. If you like to be a delegate, please contact your president first to ensure you are eligible.

Price Breakdown ･ﾟ✧

Below are the following convention deadlines and price breakdowns:

• On-Time Registration - $8.00*/attendee

• Ends Wednesday, March 31st, 2021 at 11:59PM PST

• Late Registration - $12.00*/attendee

• Ends Wednesday, April 7th, 2021 at 11:59PM PST

*If you are paying by card, there is a small transaction fee that will be added to the registration website.

Dues Payment

Please MAKE SURE that all DCON attendees, delegates, and award recipients are DUES-PAID. Any member that is NOT dues-paid will not be eligible to attend DCON, serve as a delegate, or receive any awards.

The DCON 2021 Candidate Booklet has finally been released! If you will be attending District Convention as a delegate, please make sure you read through the contents of the booklet carefully before the House of Delegates (when you will vote for next term's leaders).
