Monthly Report Form (MRF)
MRFs are due at the end of each month on the 30/31st of each month. Secretary is responsible for updating the information, hours per person, meeting attendance, service projects, DCM attendance, dues paid by members, fundraisers for club and other etc. October MRF is late, all other months should be updated. Secretaries should be working on the November MRF and be preparing to submit them by the 30th. Articles and Visuals
Articles and Visuals are due by the 10th of the Month. Editor/Bulletin Editor is responsible for submitting the Articles and Visuals, the articles can be written by the Editor or any member about projects, events, service events, fundraisers etc. Visuals are for the Article being submitted which photographs of members are participating. The email must be submitted to the LT Governor, CC: Region Advisor, Faculty Advisor, Kiwanis Advisor, and President. Subject Articles & Visuals | Month
Division Service Project
Division Service Project or Events are to bring the Division together to work on something that benefits our local community, our District community or our world community. This month’s project is a competition between the schools to collect non-perishable foods. We will be weighing the foods brought in by clubs to determine the win. The food will be donated to Western Farm Workers Association and Hope Center.
Division Leadership Team (DLT)
The DLT members meet once a week via ooVoo online conference calling, there will be times we come together to tackle major events. We have openings for Tech Editor who would take care of the Division Social Media and Website, News Editor who collects the Articles and Visuals from the clubs and also puts together a monthly Newsletter for the Division which is also submitted to the District Editor, Communications and Marketing Coordinator would help the clubs advertise Division events, club events and provide CNH resources provided by district committees for members. District Convention (DCON)
District Convention 2016 will be in Anaheim, California on April 7th to the 9th. Registration will open on December 1st. Your club must be dues paid to be eligible to attend DCON. DCON is a wonderful opportunity for us to meet our fellow Key Clubbers and to learn more about our District. Key Club & Kiwanis Got Talent
Key Club & Kiwanis Got Talent is one of our biggest events where we raise funds for Maternal Neonatal Tetanus (MNT). It has been planned for March 2017. The earlier we start planning and preparing, the better outcome we will have. We need to start looking for talent performances, sponsorships, and donations. There was a Division Leadership Team Meeting on November 11th regarding Key Club & Kiwanis Got Talent, attached is are the meeting minutes. In the minutes you can find information about potential sponsorships and improvements that we can make based on previous years.
Candidate Training Conference
The Candidate Training Conferences (CTC) are for Key Club Members who are interested in being a candidate or a potential candidate for an office above the club level. It is now mandatory to attend the Candidate Training Conference to run for an office above the office of Lt. Governor. It is mandatory that all paper work must be turned in on time and to the proper place to be able to run for any office above the club level. Conclave
A Conclave is an event usually run by the current Lt. Governor of the division to elect the next Lt. Governor to represent that division on the District Board. Each Dues paid club is allowed to have two voting delegates that vote for the candidate they think will do the best job.
