Hello Division 14 Robots!
Below is the Lt. Governor Update. Once you have read this email, please reply stating that you have read and understood this email.
In this update, you can find information on the following topics:
District Convention (DCON)
DCON is a wonderful opportunity for us to meet our fellow Key Clubbers and to learn more about our District. The DCON Preparation Guide can be accessed on the CNH Cyber Key, here. District Convention 2016 will be in Anaheim, California on April 7th to the 9th. Registration has opened, click here to access the registration form. On-Time Registration is $196 February 22, 2016. Late Registration is $236 by March 13th, 2016. Be sure to share these prices with your club members and begin budgeting/planning! (These prices only includes the food on Saturday and Breakfast on Sunday as well as other things that will be provided to you at DCON.) *This does not include transportation or hotel prices.*Your club must be dues paid to be eligible to attend DCON. DCON requires a STRICT ratio of chaperones and these rules MUST be followed: (1 Chaperones : 10 Key Clubbers) ***GENDER MATTERS***(e.g. If you have 10 girls and 2 boys, you will need 1 female chaperone and one male chaperones REGARDLESS.) Chaperones may be shared among other clubs within your division. Start looking for chaperones now! Each chaperone still has to pay the registration fees as well, it is a nice gesture for clubs to pay for the Chaperones' registration, since they are giving up time for us. To ensure that you can attend DCON, please look into your school policies. Be sure tp coordinate with school administration to complete all the required paperwork, which include: School Transportation Form, Chaperone Background Check, School District Approval Request, etc.
Dues
If your club did not submit its dues by Dec. 31, your dues are late, and need to be sent off as soon as possible. The Treasurer and Secretary of each club need to go onto the Member Update Center (MUC) & update the information. Once the MUC has been updated, there will be an invoice that must be printed out, and sent to the address stated on the invoice along with a check for the amount stated on the invoice. If you have any questions about the MUC or Dues, please contact me.

Division Service Event
Recently, there was a Division Event which was only attended by one club. It is crucial that members throughout the Division participate in these events. Please advertise DCMs and Division Service Events as much as possible.
Key Club & Kiwanis Got Talent
Key Club & Kiwanis Got Talent is one of our biggest events where we raise funds for Maternal Neonatal Tetanus (MNT). It has been planned for March 18, 2017. The earlier we start planning and preparing, the better outcome we will have. We need to start looking for talent performances, sponsorships, and donations. The date has been set for March 18th. We need a planning committee to work on sponsorship and donation letters. There will be an in-person meeting on January 20, more details will be announced soon.
