May Banquet:
This month’s DCM and end-of-term banquet will be Saturday, May 19th, 2018! It will be held at 9:00 AM at Manuel Vierra Park in Gridley. This will take place before Gridley’s annual Red Suspender Day where members can earn service hours! This banquet will be breakfast themed and I encourage all clubs to bring a dish to share. Attached below are signup sheets for each individual volunteer opportunity. Please respond to my previous email containing more information with what dish your club will be bringing and how many will be attending. If you did not receive it, I’d be happy to forward it to you.
ICON 2018:
There’s still time to sign up for ICON 2018. This year’s will take place in Chicago, Illinois. If you would like to do two payments instead of one, the first half will be due before May 15th, 2018 and the second due June 15th, 2018. Otherwise, you’d pay in full by May 30th, 2018. Below is more information and flyers about this amazing event.
DLT Applications:
The deadline for the DLT Applications has been extended to May 25th, 2018 by 6:00 PM. I encourage everyone to apply as it’s a wonderful opportunity to gain leadership experience and serve our division at a higher level.

Club MRFs:
Thank you to those who have submitted the following club MRFs for the month of April (remember, you can always submit it past the due date!):

I hope for the month of May we can have 100% on-time submission! Please remember that MRFs are mandatory submissions as well as Articles & Visuals. Articles & Visuals are due by the 10th of the next month. My deepest apologies for any confusion surrounding due dates. If your secretaries or editors have any questions or concerns please have them contact me.
Division Service Projects:
Below is a link to a calendar listing upcoming service opportunities in May and June. If you have any questions regarding some, don't be afraid to ask any questions!
Summer Service:
Just wanted to remind you that Key Club doesn't stop when school ends! It's important to volunteer as much as possible in the summertime when you aren't as busy as during the school year. If your club would like help setting up a Remind or social media account to stay in touch over summer, I'd be happy to help! Also, before the end of the month, I will be providing the summer schedule so the presidents can advertise our division events as much as possible.
June DCM:
I will have information on the next DCM in the near future.
OTC:
I will release the OTC date in the near future as well. This is a mandatory event for all club officers and highly encouraged for members interested in running for a position next term. We will be discussing all the duties required of each position and training our officers to perform their tasks to the best of their ability. **If anyone for any reason is not able to attend, then you must reply to this email explaining why and give your word that you will review the educational materials provided to you in lieu of attending.**
