August DCM
Our DCM is a Movie Night and we will be watching Avengers: Infinity War! There will also be a bake sale benefitting the Carr Fire victims. It originally was for the Pediatric Trauma Program, but due to the urgency of the situation, I have decided to change the charity. Please show your support!
When: Saturday, August 18th, 5:00-8:00pm

Region Training Conference
Our RTC will be held with Region 16 with the theme PaRTC! Clubs will be required to bring their own chaperones following the mandatory 1:12 ratio. The pricing is $7.00 if you pre-register and $10.00 if you pay onsight. See you there!
When: September 22nd, 9:30am-4:00pm
Registration: 9:00am-9:30am *BEE sure to arrive early!*

September DCM
Our theme for our September DCM will be September Spirit and there will a Spirit Training Conference afterwards! RTC is coming up as well as Fall Rally North so we must come prepared!

Spotlight on Education Program
The Spotlight on Education Program focuses on member development and education throughout the CNH District. This month's theme is Recruitment! If you are interested in recruiting more members, try setting up a booth at club rush, back to school night, or even just lunch one day! Put an announcement in the bulletin of when your meetings are and make sure the upperclassmen are spreading the word! Freshmen tend to follow the seniors.
Spotlight on Service Program
The Spotlight on Service theme for August is Children's Education! September's focus is the Pediatric Trauma Program so start planning events now! Check out the August guide attached to this email for great ideas incorporating the theme (it features a few of my personal favorites!).
August District Newsletter
Our lovely District News Editor Jenny Chen has released the August newsletter containing updates and educational information that inspires me whenever I read it! If you're ever looking for ideas I strongly suggest taking a look.

Fall Rally North
FRN 2019 this year is at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom on October 20th! The event will run from 9:30am-10:00pm with the day starting out at an opening session. The chaperone ratio is 1:12 and not gender specific.
This is a truly wonderful event so please start planning ahead of time for ticket costs and transportation. Don't forget your spirit gear!
District Convention
DCON 2019 will be held at the Ontario Convention Center from April 12th-14th! The theme is Service in Wonderland and registration opens up the first week of January. Chaperones must follow a 1:10 gender specific ratio and be background checked!
