June DCM & OTC
In just two days are our June DCM and Officer Training Conference! Attached below is the agenda for our meeting. In case you were wondering, there will be snacks provided. I look forward to making PTP dolls for UC Davis Children's Hospital with all of you!
Our OTC's schedule will follow as listed below:
9:00-9:15am President
9:15-9:30am Vice President
9:30-10:00am Secretary
10:00-10:05am BREAK
10:05-10:20am Treasurer
10:20-10:30am Editor
10:30-10:40am Key Club 101
10:40-10:55am Finding Service Projects
10:55-11:00am BREAK
11:00-11:30am Kiwanis Family & College Tips
11:30-11:40am Leadership & Communication
11:40-11:50am Balancing School & Key Club
11:50-12:00pm Spirit
It's recommended to bring something to take notes on but not necessary as I will be sending the presentations out afterwards. Secretaries may want to bring laptops to follow along on the club MRF.
Just a reminder that the DCM will last from 8:00-9:00am and the OTC will last from 9:00-12:00pm at the Yuba City Unified School District Office this Monday. The training room is on the right hand side as you walk in. Can't wait to see everyone bright and early!
Our July meeting will be on the 21st at 10:00am! It will be held at Hillcrest Park in Yuba City and we will be competing in our Summer Olympics. See you there!
Fall Rally North
FRN 2018 is October 20th at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! This is a truly wonderful event so please start planning ahead of time for ticket costs and transportation. Don't forget your spirit gear!
District Convention
DCON 2019 will be held at the Ontario Convention Center from April 12th-14th! The theme is Service in Wonderland and more information about cost will be released soon.

(There are no limits for coordinators meaning even if I have appointed someone you may still reach out if interested!)

Buzzin' Break
Another video series by the District Video Media Editor is Buzzin' Break. Season 2 Episode 1 discusses the District Goals of this term!
Spotlight on Service Program
Each month the Service Projects Committee chooses a theme for service and this month's is Health & Safety! I encourage all of you to try to find volunteer opportunities benefitting our community's safety like helping pick up trash or pass out water at a run. July's theme is BEE Clean, CNH!
