Kelsey,

Please forward this to all staff members who will be working Sunday onwards:

Please read the following carefully. It's a lot of information up front, but shouldn't be too difficult to put into practice.

Checking in:

-Late Stay students will approach the desk any time after 4pm on May 11th. They can check-in starting then.

-Some people MUST check in to Darnall 5 or 6, they have this written on their key card. If their card doesn't say anything about this, do not assign them to Darnall 5 or 6.

-Assign rooms as people come in. Darnall 101 is the first, Darnall 102 is the second. You will receive a log to help you keep track of this.

-Fill up Darnall before you start assigning people to Harbin. No special requests to do otherwise.

-Once you have assigned someone and given them a key, you will fill the assignment into a spreadsheet. This spreadsheet will be provided for you before 4pm on the 12th.

-Write their assignment and key code on their key card. File the blue and green cards alphabetically. Keep them separate from the yellow cards.

What you need to know:

-If somebody wants to live with a particular person, the both of them must show up at the same time. Otherwise they will be assigned to whatever's available.

-If somebody wants to live with a friend with Late Stay already living in Darnall, or on Harbin 6-8 they must both show up, and the person moving-in must verbally assent to moving in to a space that hasn't been cleaned. This does not work if they have a space assigned already.

-If somebody doesn't have their Late Stay letters, they can pick them up from Harbin 100 during the week. Make sure at least their roommates have letters so housekeeping doesn’t enter the room.

-If somebody has a question about cancelling select nights of Late Stay: THEY MUST KEEP THEIR LATE STAY LETTERS, and e-mail summer...@georgetown.edu. The process is much easier, and they can qualify for a full refund on the nights they don't use as long as they keep their letters.

THEY MAY NOT

Move into a friend's room or apartment if it's not in Darnall or Harbin 6-8

Extend their Late Stay dates

Live anywhere but their assigned floor, if they have one.

Live Co-Ed.

Please let Steve or Lauren know if you have any questions or issues.

Sincerely,

Steve Fry
