With an orangey haze
His adolescent phase
The goldfish is still young
He will grow big and strong
And all day swim along
In his lonely goldfish bowl
No water change
His bowl is an algae maze
That he cannot navigate
Runs into the glass
And the goldfish has passed
With a flush of the toilet, has gone
