Flex/Java Software Engineers - Austin, TX
We seek a couple of strong Java/Flex developers in or near Austin,
Tx. The work is cutting edge and the company is destined for
greatness. This is a ground floor opportunity that has tremendous
potential. We rate this company a 10 out of 10 in career opportunity
and potential, and they are one of 3 of our clients to achieve this
designation in the past 15 years. This is truly an exceptional
opportunity.
You will be working in or leading a small team of developers, working
on video integration products, platforms, and strategies. Important
UI skills include Flex, ActionScript3, HTML5. If you have RoR
experience, that’s a plus. We also need someone strong in developing
Enterprise Applications in Java/Flex, creating frameworks that can be
leveraged and built upon in the future. The qualified candidate will
be a technical junkie, who can’t get enough. They will need to have a
solid understanding of Agile, or at least some development
methodology. Other required skills include:
Flexbuilder, Flex SDK, and BlazeDS
Web Servers like Apache and application servers
Persistent framework experience, (Spring and/or Hibernate)
ActionScript2/3, HTML5, Flash
Automated testing using JUnit/ TestNG or similar
Desired skills are:
Subversion, Maven 2, JIRA, Eclipse is a plus
Experience with databases MySQL is a plus
Experience with Video Player development is a plus
