CzechIdM (ConnID) FreeIPA Connector?

Hi everyone,

I guess this is a first message here - anyway...

Any update on yours FreeIPA ConnID connector?

It is referenced at [1], [2] and [3].

Any idea how to get access to it and I hope it will be open sourced (if not already)

Hi Ernedin,
I will forward your question to our devs and I'll be in touch.
FreeIPA connector is still "to be announced" for CzechIdM 7. However, we have working FreeIPA connector for older version of the CzechIdM - but that connector is built atop OpenICF, not ConnID.

OpenICF should work to :)

I might even "migrate" it to ConniD (FreeIPA part is interesting - especially that you will probably use json-rpc backend)

Hi Ernedin,
We were discussing the FreeIPA connector internally in the company.
The connector is really a ConnID (not OpenICF as I wrote earlier) connector and it works.

However we still have to discuss licensing (and such) of our paid connectors - and therefore possibility of licensing particular connector.
Currently, I cannot give you a time estimate when we get to it. The only way for now it is to buy a CzechIdM product maintenance.
