Fwd: Fire safety Norms in Nicolas Tower I

Dear Rajivji

 Time and again We have been asking about the safety Norms and requesting you to conduct the Fire Drill but there are no Fire Drills and also no Fire Equipment is working. We feel that why not call the Chief of fire services Next week for an Inspection to Our tower Nicolas I and ask him to Provide a Correct Status as we are aware that Nicolas has received Fire NOC.and take a assessment from the Chief of Fire about how they have provided the Fire Certificate without even confirming the equipment's are working.

Yesterday the Equipment of Fire alarm was being checked by the Vendor and found to be  not working for any of the Floors and also the Fire extinguishers have crossed the expiry Dates.

 Please let us know your update as Next week we are calling the Chief of Fire Services for a Visit

Dear Mr Goel

    You are already aware that more than 40 Residents have shifted and are staying in Nicolas I Tower and it is the only tower with so many Residents and still every day and two more and more Allottees are shifting in the tower as such we request you to please update on the Fire Safety Norms and compliances in the tower:

 

* Please let us know whether all the flats have been fitted with Fire sprinklers and if they are fitted whether these are working or not.

* Please let us know whether all the Flats have Smoke detectors fitted and are working.

* Please let u know whether Fire Hoses with Fire Hose Reel is Provided in each floor or not with Lengths of the Hose reels ending till the last Flat.

*Please let us know whether all Floors are fitted with Fire extinguisher or Not.

*Please also let us know whether all the required Fire signages have been properly been identified and fitted and marked or not.

*Please let us know whether Fire alarms are fitted and working or not.

*Please let us know whether Emergency Lights are available in the tower required during Dark Hour when the Power is switched off due to fire hazard.

*Please let us know as the Tower is above 60 meters in Height as such is there a proper Assemble Area provided at the front of the Main entrance or not.

*Please let us know whether good number of Fire escape Exits are available in the tower or not..

*Please also let us know whether the Fire Escape Route Map is available on all the Floors for Residents awraeness or not.

*Further make sure that in case of Fire Hazard is there a Public Audio system available in the Flat to reach any Emergency at any floor or not.

*Further also let us know if there is enough space available at the Front and Rear of the tower including Right and Left side for the Fire Tenders(Brigades)to fight the emergency

  The above requirement must be inspected both with Flats and common Areas

Further I am attaching a Power Point of the NBC Requirements which will guide you to Organise the requirement properly.

I request you to please provide a prompt reply for all the points and in case if as per you everything is ok than let us have a inspection carried out by the department and pursue the Fire NOC.
