A new major alpha version of Cytoscape Web has been released. This
version has several new features and improvements over its
predecessor.
Several additions have been made with regards to graph manipulation.
Now, the network can be modified on-the-fly after it has been drawn.
This is facilitated by new functions that allow for nodes and edges to
be added and removed from the network.
Improvements have also been made to the layout mechanism. For
example, now you can customise the parameters of each layout algorithm
in order to precisely control how the network is drawn.
We have also made several miscellaneous improvements and bug fixes
which were asked for by users of Cytoscape Web, such as the support
for the SIF data format.
As always, your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
