Unable to import PPI netrowk via STRING app

Using the version Cytoscape 3.6.0, I am able to get a network of PPI when I enter the name for one single gene, protein (Import- Network- Public database- STRING Protein Query, Homo Sapiens). However when I am entering a list of genes (anywhere between 2-300) it says "Query returned no results". The same list when entered in the STRING DB gives me a nice network. I am not sure what I am missing here. If it works for one protein why cannot it work for a list?

Greetings,

  The stringApp should be able to import extremely large networks.  How are your proteins delimited?  It could be that you are using a delimiter not supported by the stringApp. By default, the Import->Network->Public database form takes newlines as delimiters.  If that still doesn't work, send me a list of proteins to try and I'll try to figure out what's going on.
