Hi,

We are trying to generate a full yeast (S. cerevisiae) interactome as taken from IntAct in Cytoscape, but the importer does not seem to be working properly. The 'Import Interactome' search seems to work, but when you click 'Import' the download fails without producing a network. The exit dioalogue box pops up, but there are no created networks on it. The Task History also shows what would otherwise be a normal import, but no network is created. We have tested other interactomes (human and mouse, for example) and they downloaded fine, even when they were significantly bigger that yeast. The PSICQUIC registry for IntAct is up and we have successfully downloaded the yeast interactome through PSICQUICView (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/Tools/webservices/psicquic/view/results.xhtml?conversationContext=1), so it does not seem the problem is there.

Any help to fix this woudl be much appreciated.

Best regards,

Pablo.

Thanks for reporting this bug! We will file it into our issue tracker and figure out a fix. That might take awhile since none of the original developers are still involved. In the meantime, however, you discovered the recommended workaround: download it directly and then import it from file into Cytoscape.
