Network Background - transparency

Hi, how can I change the white background to a transparency one, so I can overlap a network to a figure.

Hi Simone,

The only way I know to do this is to export as PDF. Then you can open that PDF in an illustration tool (like Illustrator) and select/delete just the background. Then export that background-less network in any format at any resolution.

Hi Alex,

this looks like a bug in the image exporter of Cytoscape.
On can set the transparency of the background via

Style -> Network Tab -> Background Paint -> RGB/CMYK

This is correctly shown in the definition, but not applied during export of the images.

Agreed. Filed it already:
https://cytoscape.atlassian.net/browse/CYTOSCAPE-12468. Not sure if that’s publicly visible… but it is there :)
